Challenges Facing Business Owners with Jaime Jay

As a business owners, we all have the same problems? Sometimes they’re worse than others, but most people that have been in business have experienced all those problems. You might be in one spot, and somebody else might be another spot, but they’ve probably experienced what you’ve experienced.

As a business owner, you have to make payroll.  You have to make those payroll tax deposits and  pay your own bills. You are going to spend money on marketing. There’s all these things. And you should feel comfortable enough to speak with a professional because they are professional, and they should be giving you all the good advice, and tell you how to handle it. Because the worst thing, as a business owner, we could do, is stick our head in the sand because, eventually, Uncle Sam is going to come and knock. And all the IRS cares, really, is that you communicate with them. If there’s an issue, communicate. Okay, it’s all fixable. There’s nothing that’s not fixable. You’ll live another day.

Its All About Communication

But the key is to communicate, and that’s my big thing. If you’re working with somebody out there communicate with them. If you don’t talk to them, they can’t help. They should be calling you, but the doctor doesn’t call you to say, “how are you feeling today”, right?

Right.

You call him when you’re not feeling. So reach out to them, speak to them. Tell them “This is what I need. This is what I want. Help me.”

I like that because, just imagine being I a business owner in n a really bad spot, where your company’s not making money. And I’ll pull out a complete hypothetical right here. But say, your company’s not making any money, you haven’t done your taxes in two years, you don’t know how much you’re really making. You kind of pull from one account and pay for this stuff over there. And you kind of know you shouldn’t do that, but you don’t really know. I mean, I cannot tell you how much better I feel when I finally said, “You know what? Here it is. This is me. This is my life. Please, help me out.”

And to have somebody like you to say, “You know what? Don’t worry about it, it’s okay. We can help.”

It’s all fixable, and then you’re able to spend that time worrying, you can spend that time working on your business, generating more revenue, which actually helps you to get to the spot you want be at faster.
